Osteopathic Manipulation Treatment (OMT) is a hands-on approach used by osteopathic physicians (DOs) to diagnose, treat, and prevent illness or injury. OMT involves using the hands to move muscles and joints, applying techniques like stretching, gentle pressure, and resistance to improve mobility, relieve pain, and enhance overall body function.
